HUGE is published by one editor, from Hamilton, Ontario, and funded by advertising and reader support rather than by an owner with an interest in the outcome. We publish when a story is worth reporting, at the depth the story actually deserves, and we say plainly what we know, what we do not, and where we got it.

Every claim is verified against official sources, primary documents, or confirmed firsthand accounts before publication.

What We Cover
World — politics, policy, climate, conflict and public life, with the context needed to understand why a story happened and what follows from it.
Entertainment — film, television, music and the business behind them: release dates, box office, awards, and the announcements that move an industry.
Gaming — releases, hardware, studio news and the business of play, including schedule changes and platform decisions that affect what players can buy.
Sports — results, injuries, transfers, trades and championships, reported from the record rather than from speculation.
How We Work
Reporting is built on official announcements, verified eyewitness accounts, and primary documents. We label opinion distinctly from news, do not run unverified claims as fact, and provide context so readers can form their own judgments.
When we make mistakes, we correct them quickly and visibly. Corrections are published at the top of the relevant article with a note explaining what was changed and why.
We do not publish a bare headline. A story runs with enough reporting to answer the obvious questions — what happened, who said so, what it changes, and what is still unconfirmed. Short items are used only when the news is genuinely short.

Jacob owns HUGE outright. One person answers for every word on the site: what gets published, what gets corrected, and what gets taken down.
