Cinemark has revealed its merchandise lineup for Godzilla Minus Zero, and the centerpiece is a full-body 3D Godzilla popcorn container that stands 19.5 inches tall. The theater chain announced the collection this week, giving U.S. fans their first confirmed look at dimensions and availability for an item that had circulated online without either.

The bucket is designed to read as a display figure rather than a conventional container. It reproduces the kaiju's jagged dorsal plates, an open mouth and a large tail, and it ships with an XL popcorn serving on the side.

What else is in the lineup

The collection runs to three pieces. Alongside the Godzilla bucket, Cinemark is offering a Heat Ray Drink Bottle — a sculpted Godzilla head with a blue, heat-ray-shaped bottle rising from its mouth — paired with a large drink. All three items include a free same-day refill, with fine print noting that refills exclude ICEEs.

Availability The merchandise will be sold at select Cinemark theaters while supplies last. Cinemark has not announced pricing or an on-sale date.

Where the bucket came from

The container first appeared publicly at EXPOCINE in São Paulo, where Sato Company, the film's Brazilian distributor, showcased it. Reports at the time indicated it was manufactured by Golden Link — the same company behind the Galactus bucket released for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which measured roughly 17.5 inches tall.

Alamo Drafthouse, which is also carrying a version, lists the bucket at 19.5 inches tall, 17 inches wide and 22 inches long, with an 85-ounce capacity. Its pre-order price there is $90, and the popcorn loads through an opening in Godzilla's back.

Is it the biggest ever?

That claim has circulated widely online, but it remains unverified. No official record exists for the largest movie popcorn bucket, and the comparisons currently in circulation rest on reported heights rather than a governing standard. At 19.5 inches the Godzilla container does stand about two inches taller than the Galactus bucket, which is the closest documented point of reference.

Establishing a record would require comparing dimensions across competing theater drops, several of which have not yet been announced.

When the film arrives

Godzilla Minus Zero is directed by Takashi Yamazaki and opens in Japanese theaters on November 3, 2026, followed by a North American release through GKIDS on November 6, 2026. Tickets for the North American run went on sale October 6.

Merchandise pricing and sale dates are expected to follow ahead of release, though Cinemark has not indicated when.
