Pokémon’s Holiday Helpers Plush Line Dresses Pikachu as a Christmas Tree
Pokémon has revealed its Holiday Helpers plush line, led by a Pikachu dressed as a Christmas tree, a Pikachu-and-Clodsire sled set and festive plush keychains, with a Japan release set for October 24.
Pokémon has revealed a new seasonal plush line called Holiday Helpers, built around Pikachu and one especially round surprise. The company showed off the collection on its social accounts on October 16, 2026, in a post that asked followers which Holiday Helper plush was their favourite and teased the set’s festive theme. A follow-up message from the same account said the plush are “coming soon to Pokémon Center,” pointing fans to the retailer’s existing holiday range in the meantime.
The centrepiece is a large, round Pikachu dressed as a fully decorated Christmas tree, complete with a small star on its head and the Electric-type’s face left visible. It is the biggest piece shown in the reveal image and the one most likely to anchor a holiday display. Alongside it sits a Santa-styled Clodsire pulling a small sled, with a tiny Pikachu riding on top. At first glance the Clodsire reads as a standalone festive plush, but closer product images show the two Pokémon joined as a single set.
Keychains round out the lineup
The rest of the group is smaller. Additional images indicate the remaining Pikachu designs are plush keychains rather than full-size display plush, each wearing a Santa hat and striking a different pose: one sleepy Pikachu clutching a cookie, one covered in snow, and one mischievous Pikachu riding a Porygon. With the tree-costume Pikachu and the Clodsire sled, the reveal showed five festive Pikachu in total.
Pokémon has not published North American sizes or prices for the collection. Trade coverage noted that most Pokémon Center plush keychains run about four to eight inches tall and typically sell for under $20, while the store’s larger plush can climb well above that, but those figures are comparisons rather than confirmed pricing for this line. The tree Pikachu’s size in particular has only been estimated from the promotional image.
Japan has a date; North America does not
The clearest launch detail so far comes from Japan. A post on the official Japanese Pokémon site previews the collection and lists a release at Pokémon Center stores on October 24, 2026, with Pokémon Center Online opening orders two days earlier, on October 22 at 10 a.m. JST. That announcement includes Japanese prices, among them ¥4,400 for the tree-costume Pikachu, ¥2,200 for each plush keychain and ¥5,500 for the Pikachu-and-Clodsire sled set, all tax included. It also shows additional festive goods, such as Tangrowth-themed Christmas sweaters.
North American accounts have stopped short of a date, price or size, saying only that the plush are coming soon to Pokémon Center. It is not yet clear whether the U.S. assortment will match Japan’s lineup, or whether items such as the sweaters will stay exclusive to Japan.
Where the plush fit in the 2026 holiday line
The Holiday Helpers join a holiday season already underway at Pokémon Center. The retailer’s 2026 holiday collection, themed “Winter Night Sky,” launched on October 14, 2026, in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with the United Kingdom and Germany to follow. That line leans on Pikachu, Mew, Piplup and Amaura across ornaments, stockings, plush and gift wrap, so the Holiday Helpers read as a separate plush-focused drop rather than a replacement for it.
Seasonal merchandise has become a fixed part of Pokémon’s retail calendar, and the Holiday Helpers follow that pattern: a handful of collectible designs, a mix of sizes, and at least one character outside the usual mascot rotation. For now the main unknowns are the ones that matter most to buyers, namely U.S. timing, pricing and whether the whole line crosses the Pacific. Pokémon Center has said more is on the way, but has not said when.
