Universal Orlando Unwraps New Holiday Ornaments Ahead of the 2026 Season

Orlando Informer shared a look at new holiday ornaments at Universal Orlando, where the resort's 2026 season runs November 14, 2026 through January 3, 2027 with Grinchmas, the Macy's parade and a first holiday expansion at Epic Universe.

Orlando Informer shared a look at new holiday ornaments at Universal Orlando on October 16, 2026, giving guests an early peek at the merchandise that arrives weeks before the resort's Christmas season officially opens. The post, which paired a single line of copy with four photos, landed roughly a month ahead of Holidays at Universal, the destination-wide celebration that runs November 14, 2026 through January 3, 2027.

Timing like that is normal for Universal. The holiday entertainment does not begin until mid-November, but the merchandise does, and it lands while Halloween Horror Nights is still running. Halloween Horror Nights 2026 runs through November 1, which means the parks switch from haunted houses to tinsel in the space of about two weeks. Universal's own holiday page tells guests to shop for Christmas ornaments and seasonal apparel at Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe in Islands of Adventure, Park Plaza Holiday Shop in Universal Studios Florida, Other Worlds Mercantile in Epic Universe and the Holiday Tribute Store in Universal Studios Florida.

The same assortment is easier to browse online at shopuniversal.com, the store Universal refreshed in November 2025 as a dedicated home for its holiday and theme-park-exclusive merchandise. Its Ornaments collection is now stacked with arrivals that reach well beyond Harry Potter. Among the new listings: a Jaws Holiday Ornament and a Jurassic World Dolores Holiday Ornament at $30 each, a Despicable Me Fluffy Holiday Ornament at $30, a Universal Globe Holiday Bow Ornament at $25, a Universal Epic Universe Ornament at $25, and a How To Train Your Dragon Toothless & Light Fury Ornament at $25. There is also a Jurassic Park Rain Jacket Ornament at $22 and a gold-plated Universal Epic Universe Epic Anniversary Ornament at $35, the most expensive of the new group.

Wizarding World fans have their own row of the tree: a Hogwarts Express ornament, a personalizable Hogwarts Letter ornament, a metal Great Hall ornament at $30, a Golden Snitch Snowflake ornament at $25 and a spinning Hogwarts ornament at $25. The Halloween Horror Nights 2026 line has not been cleared out either, so a $18 Tom Whalen Lil' Boo ornament and a $22 event-logo ornament are still sitting next to the Christmas stock, an awkward but honest snapshot of a resort with two seasons overlapping on the same shelves. Last December, the park-specific Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Jurassic Park ornaments were spotted in the parks at $18 each.

Prices on shopuniversal.com are listed in USD. Universal has not stated which of these designs are sold inside the parks specifically, and in-park pricing for this year's ornament display has not been published.

The ornaments are a small part of a bigger and earlier season. The 2026 celebration is Universal Orlando's longest yet, running 51 days, a full week longer than 2025, and it is the first to carry holiday decor into Epic Universe. SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, the latter branded Snoggletog after the franchise's own holiday, will be decorated for the first time, joining Celestial Park, which returns as what Universal calls a cosmic winter wonderland, and Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at the Ministry of Magic.

Returning staples are unchanged: Grinchmas in Seuss Landing with the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular and a Who-Ville Tree Lot; Christmas in The Wizarding World across Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and wizarding Paris; and Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's, which carries Despicable Me, Shrek and Madagascar floats and closes each night with Santa Claus lighting the park's Christmas tree. All 11 Universal Orlando hotels are decorated for the season, and the Green and Red Coconut Club returns at CityWalk. The Universal Holiday Tour runs on select dates from November 14 through January 2 at $69.99 per person plus tax, with Passholders saving $10.

For collectors, the ornament drops are the earliest readable signal of what a given year's season will look like, and they are the one piece of the holiday that guests can buy before the trees are up. Orlando Informer's post did not itemize the designs in its four photos, and Universal has not published a full list of what is in the in-park display. For now the collection exists in two places: on the shelves and online.
